Services of Worship

Sunday Services

7:00am Quiet Eucharist

A "said" service of Holy Communion for early risers and those who prefer a quieter, more reflective service. Tea and toast and tea/coffee are served afterwards to allow social interaction and give people a chance to meet.

8:30am Family Eucharist

A contemporary service of Holy Communion with contemporary songs, children's ministry time. Young people and children are included in the liturgical format and parallel activities. They are encouraged to contribute in various ways.  (See 8:30am Worship for more details on the varied weekly activities). The service is followed by morning tea and coffee.

10:15am Choral Eucharist

A sung service of Holy Communion in the classic Anglican tradition with choir and traditional hymns. Morning tea is served in the hall after this service.

5:00pm Evensong
(4th Sunday of the month)

Evensong is a short service (about 40 minutes) of readings, prayers and sung responses and is a wonderful peaceful way to end the day. Sherry after the service.

6:00 pm Taize
(2nd Sunday of the month)

Characterized by the singing of simple melodies interspersed with short readings, prayers and periods of silence. Taize-style worship invites participants into a posture of resting quietly together in mystery, listening and contemplation. The service is followed by a light supper.

As well as other special services throughout the year...
