Pastoral Care Team and Hospital Visitors

A team of dedicated parish volunteers make regular visits to Buderim Private Hospital, many of the local Nursing Homes and Aged Care Facilities in and around Buderim as well as homes of the aged and infirm still living in their own homes. Some members of the team will lead short services or bring Holy Communion to those people who are unable to get to church, others simply visit as a the friendly and caring face of St. Mark's Anglican church. Further, St. Mark's has several fully trained and qualified hospital chaplains who work at Nambour Hospital (NGH) Sunshine Coast University Hospital (SCUH) and Sunshine Coast University Private Hospital (SCUPH), These chaplains visit everyone in their assigned wards and are available to visit any parishioners who are patients of these hospitals. Please contact the Parish Office if you are hospitalised.
